ABOUT ME
I’m Tamara Siem, a Senior UX/UI and Product Designer with 20+ years of experience turning complex problems into elegant, human-centered solutions. My career has spanned government, corporate, and SaaS environments, from leading government digital initiatives to shaping enterprise platforms. Across every project, my north star has been simple: design that makes life easier, smarter, and more enjoyable for the people who use it.
My diverse background across industries and decades of experience gives me a unique perspective. I’ve learned to see challenges from multiple angles and craft solutions that balance creativity, usability, and business impact.
In my case studies, you’ll see how I’ve built scalable design systems, facilitated workshops that align diverse stakeholders, and mentored teams to embed human-centered design into their everyday practice. What truly sets me apart is my ability to connect with people, bridging gaps between users, executives, and developers, and translating complex needs into clear, actionable design strategies. Communication isn’t just part of my process; it’s the glue that makes collaboration work and ensures every voice is heard.
People often describe me as someone who makes complex ideas approachable and inspires alignment across diverse teams. They also see me as hardworking and fun, bringing both dedication and energy to every project while keeping the process engaging and collaborative.
I’m equally comfortable sketching wireframes, mapping user journeys, and presenting design strategies to executives and stakeholders. My real superpower is connecting the dots between user needs and business goals while keeping teams aligned and inspired.
And because design should be both functional and fun, I bring a bit of playfulness to the process. (Yes, I’ve been known to turn stakeholder workshops into something that feels less like a meeting and more like a creative jam session.)
At the end of the day, I’m not just designing interfaces. I’m designing experiences that empower people, build trust, and drive measurable impact.
